Their next stop was a restaurant. Unlike Zack and Reno, Genesis had more refined tastes. He said it himself. He wasn't to be compared to her puppy brother and Reno the buffoon.

"Did you get an invitation to Shinra's son birthday?" Eloise changed the subject. She wanted to feel good and have fun. She had been sulking all the way to the restaurant.

"Everyone from SOLDIER did. It happens every year. We are requested to come and watch Shinra's son get praised" Genesis was playing with his food. He didn't eat anything and he felt his appetite leaving his body. Talking about Shinra made him sick.

"But we are allowed to have fun, right?" Genesis wanted to ask her what was her definition of that word. Instead, he nodded.

She smiled softly and looked at him with intense blue eyes. He felt himself shiver when their eyes met. Without the SOLDIER uniform, she did look like a girl. Moreover, a pretty girl. Probably the energy was making her glow again.

"Then shouldn't we find something to dress? Something formal?" Genesis's demeanor became grey and he started to sulk. She smirked devilishly and grabbed his hand. That simple action shocked the redhead. "Let's buy you a tuxedo" He didn't like that idea; not at all.

The shopping center was packed. Some girls recognized Genesis, surprisingly. They came and started to ask him different questions. Eloise backed off and waited for them to finish. Genesis was used to attention, since he was a seeker for it, but in that moment he felt like killing them all.

"You did something stupid back there. You insulted their womanhood"

Truthfully, he acted as himself. He went a bit overboard when he told them to go and play. He subtly told four 20 and something women that they weren't good enough for him. He called them kids and girls hate that. They didn't show their disappointment but Eloise could feel it radiating from them.

However, Genesis ignored her statement. He grabbed her hand and held it for the rest of the time. He didn't want any more disturbances. He preferred give the impression that they were a couple than have girls fawn over him. Besides, it felt quite good. Her hand was small but she had long fingers. His hand was bigger than hers and he could cover hers completely.

Eloise stopped in front of a few shops before she decided on one. She made Genesis try different tuxedos. Of course, she did use it as a chance to take revenge on all the times he made fun of her. That was the main reason why Genesis got out of the cabin in an old, Victorian-ish tuxedo. His hair was making the green tuxedo seem even weirder than it was.

"I don't like this" He wasn't amused.

"Too bad. It seems perfect for you" His eyes narrowed at her bemused statement. "Can you get on one knee and bent your head? Oh, and place both hands on your right hip as if you intend to grab your sword"

There was a moment of deadly silence. She blinked innocently and smiled cutely. She was using her girly charm in order to get him to give up. Surprisingly, he did. Reluctantly, and with a big glare, but he did it nonetheless.

Her cute smile changed quickly into a smug smirk. He raised his head in time to see her inspecting him with an evil glint in her eyes. He watched her closer and realized she was glowing again. It was that yellow glow. It disappeared once she got on her feet.

"You can try one that you like. My revenge is over" He glared at her before he hurried to change out of that ugly tuxedo.

On the way to the exit, Eloise tried to act as if nothing happened. She didn't just embarrass her higher up in a shopping center. There were a lot of women who stopped and admired the SOLDIER. Even if he looked ridiculous, he gave off a noble aura that made him stand out. She didn't have to make pictures. They did enough.

"Hey, Genesis. Why did you take me out?" That was the question he was trying to ignore.

"Because you were ready to lose control" She bit her lower lip and remembered the training session.

"You don't believe me, do you?" Genesis didn't even turn his head to look at her. He was walking a few feet in front of her. She sighed heavily.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a mannequin dressed in a red suit. He looked handsome and the suit itself wasn't too formal. It was the right way. She stopped and stared at it admiringly. She could imagine Genesis wearing it and making everyone feel inferior with his presence. She chuckled to herself before she moved on.

Once they entered SOLDIER, the scent of steel and sweat overwhelmed her. Genesis's behavior didn't change but hers did. Once she entered the building, her posture straightened and her face became expressionless. It felt like she was someone completely different from the easy going girl who forced Genesis to bow in front of her in an ugly tuxedo.

She went straight into her room and ignored Genesis for the rest of the night. He raised an eyebrow and went into the lounge. Angeal and Sephiroth walked in a few moments later.

"Did you find anything?" Sephiroth shook his head. They searched for answers the whole after noon but didn't find anything suspicious.

"Her body's reacting to something but we can't explain what. The wolf she sees is either a hallucination either pure energy she emanates" Genesis and Sephiroth sighed at the same time. One was worried for his pupil and one was simply worried.

"I tried to take her out of the building to see how she reacts. She didn't talk about it and there was no energy incident. She seemed normal" Angeal rubbed his forehead and propped on the couch.

"I want it to be a secret between us. We can't tell Lazard about her. Who knows what he would do to her" The three friends nodded. Sephiroth left after a few moment and Genesis went into his room. Angeal had to go on a mission with his puppy.

Eloise locked herself in her room and tried to act as if her body was fine. She controlled the energy for the whole time she spent with Genesis. She wanted to show him that she is mature enough and that she was able to control it. It proved to be a little difficult. There were times she wanted to get it out. The training session left some scars in her body. She lost control in the simulation room and it wasn't easy to get it back. She needed rest right after. She needed to recharge. But Genesis dragged her out. IT wasn't safe but she enjoyed it.

She started to smile unconsciously. Going out with Genesis felt like a date. They went to see a play, they went to restaurant and to the shopping center. She started to giggle like a high school girl and roll in her bed. When she realized what she was doing, she stopped and frowned. She shook her head quickly and closed her eyes tightly.

"Don't make me feel something for that asshole. I won't fall for him, no, no" Sadly, it was too late. Her heart was already fluttering.
